VENDOR GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

2008 RUSSELL COUNTY FAIR AND HORSE SHOW
August 29 - September 6, 2008

1. Every vendor must have a written contract with the Russell County Fair signed and paid in advance.
a). There will be no sub-leasing of contracted spaces
b). Once a space has been assigned you will not be allowed to move to a different location without
permission of the Committee Chair.
c). There will be no prorated spaces. Full payment will be charged regardless of arrival time.
d). Business must be confined to the specific area you rent. No walking around grounds selling
tickets, handing out literature, putting papers on vehicles, etc.
2. No alcoholic beverages may be sold or consumed on the Fair Grounds
3. No posting of posters or signs allowed on grounds.
4. No smoking in any buildings
5. $1,000,000 general liability proof of insurance must be provided
6. Loud noises (music, broadcasting, etc.) will not be permitted. No voice solicitations louder than a
7. 3- foot range of booth, such as mega phones, micro phones, etc.
8. No guns, knives or other weapons may be sold.
9. Items exclusive to Cole Show vendors only and may NOT be offered by other vendors are: cotton
candy, candy apples, caramel apples, popcorn, caramel corn, snow cones, shaved ice or funnel cakes.
10.Selling of noise makers, poppers and spray paint or other aerosol can items are prohibited
11.Parking for vendors is designated or you may park in general parking. (Violators will be invited to not
participate in next year's fair.)
12.Exhibitor passes are intended for vendors and booth workers and are not for sale or to be given to
third parties. Passes will be given at set up. Passes will be given per booth at the time of setup.
2 passes per booth space for regular exhibitors, non profit and reduced rates will receive 1 pass.
Additional passes may be purchased from the office or from the front gate.
13.Cleanliness of your area is your responsibility.
14.All animals (pets) must be on a leash or in an enclosed cage while on the fair grounds.
A fair operations manual is available in the fair office for your references.
